I became a therapist through my own experiences navigating trauma and hard seasons of life. Because of that, I often describe myself as “a therapist who gets it.” I know what it’s like to sit in the uncertainty, pain, and overwhelm, and that lived experience deeply shapes how I show up for my clients—with empathy, patience, and real understanding.

As a therapist, I believe healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and welcomed—just as they are. My work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and trauma-informed, evidence-based care that honors each person’s unique story. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to show up honestly, knowing they will be met with empathy, respect, and genuine care.

My therapeutic style is down-to-earth and collaborative, blending research-backed approaches with intuition and warmth. I specialize in trauma across the lifespan, with advanced training in EMDR, play-based trauma treatment, and supporting neurodivergent children. Therapy with me is never one-size-fits-all; each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet clients where they are and respond to what feels most supportive in the moment.

At the heart of my work is trust and connection. I believe healing happens when I show up as my authentic self and invite clients to do the same. One of the greatest joys of this work is walking alongside people as they heal from trauma and rediscover their strength—even earning me the affectionate nickname “trauma gangster,” which I wear with gratitude and pride.

I also believe deeply in practicing what I teach. Therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis—it’s a space for growth, care, and self-understanding at every stage of life. My hope is to make therapy feel accessible, empowering, and deeply human.
