As an author, I write from a place of love, lived experience, and a deep desire for children to feel seen and understood. Stories have always been a powerful way for me to connect, explain big emotions, and create meaning—especially for children navigating experiences that feel confusing or isolating. I believe books can open doors to understanding, reassurance, and healing in ways that feel safe and accessible.

My journey into writing began when I received my daughter’s hearing diagnosis. I immediately turned to books, hoping to find something that could help explain her experience in a way she could understand. When I realized there were very few stories that truly represented her or reflected what it’s like to live with Auditory Processing Disorder, I felt called to write the book I wished existed.

My stories are therapeutic in nature and intentionally include authentic neurodivergent representation, blending my background as a therapist with my lived experience as a mother. My daughter continues to be my greatest source of inspiration, fueling my passion to bring meaningful representation to children who deserve to see themselves on the page. I hope my books help children recognize their own worth and give families a resource they can return to again and again.

Each story I write is deeply personal, rooted in real experiences, and created with the hope that it offers understanding, comfort, and connection. Most recently, I’ve continued sharing our journey through writing, including an article published in The Liahona that reflects on our faith and path through diagnosis.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
